With more than a decade of experience in dentistry, Dr. Patrick has the skills and know-how required to leave your kids smiling! He has a particular interest in guiding patients who are anxious or nervous about visiting their dentist’s office. He finds there is nothing more rewarding than helping a nervous child transform into one beaming with newfound confidence and pride as they leave the dental office. Dr. Patrick received special training during his residency, where he learned how to treat the unique needs of children. Dr. Patrick enjoys the puzzles that pediatric dentistry presents. Dr. Patrick attended Thomas More University for his undergraduate degree and then achieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Kentucky. From the University of Toledo Medical Center, he recieved his Master’s in Biomedical Sciences and completed a two year advanced training program in pediatric dentistry. Today, he is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist – this means that he’s completed rigorous examinations to prove his expertise and is also committed to keeping up with continuing education in the field. Additionally, he has advanced training in growth and development, patient behavioral management, general anasthesia, and pediatric medicine amongst many other skills that separate pediatric dentists from their peers.
Dr. Patrick grew up in Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati. He is married to his wonderful wife Heidi, and they have two daughters together. Being a dad is definitely his greatest joy. As for other hobbies, he enjoys everything to do with cooking – the gadgets, the TV shows, the noise of a kitchen, the creativity, and (of course) the great food at the end. He’s a big dog person and even once had a dog trained to do pet therapy for kids who struggled with reading. He loves cycling, skiing, visiting the mountains, and watching college basketball – his team has always been the Kentucky Wildcats!
