Born and raised in Silverton, OR, Dr. Kathleen brings close to two full decades of experience in the dental field to our team, and we’re more than happy to have her. Being able to connect with the children and helping them achieve their healthiest smiles is incredibly rewarding for her. She looks forward to earning your little one’s trust so that they can feel comfortable while getting the effective care they deserve. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Kathleen decided to become a dentist after she participated in a health occupations class in high school. She deeply admired how the doctors and staff were able to interact effortlessly with their patients while putting their minds at ease during their visits. Not only did she gain an interest in dentistry, but she also had her eye on becoming a pediatric dentist due to her love of children. She always felt she could connect with their honest and open personalities, and she wanted to help them work through a variety of treatments so that they could enjoy a beautiful and healthy smile.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
For her undergraduate degree, Dr. Kathleen first attended the University of Puget Sound before studying at the Oregon Health Sciences University. She worked in public health before moving on to obtain her pediatric dental certificate from Texas A&M College of Dentistry as well as becoming board certified.
Dr. Kathleen regularly seeks continuing education to expand her skills and knowledge of different topics in pediatric dentistry. She is also a proud and active member of various professional organizations, including the:

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
If you don’t find her at the office, Dr. Kathleen is certainly spending quality time with her husband—who is also a dentist—and their two wonderful boys. They also have a chocolate labrador named Brewksi. Aside from dentistry, her family is her greatest passion, and she enjoys doing things like fishing, hiking, and playing all kinds of sports. In her spare time, she likes baking as well as traveling to new places when possible. One fun fact about her: she grew up on a Christmas Tree Farm in Silverton!
